Trash Bag Size Explained
The trash bag sizing in Singapore can be a bit tricky as the dimension of the bag is measured in inches whereas the thickness is measured either in mm or microns. We will explained to you in details how to choose a right trash bag for your bin.

For a trash bag of size 23" x 30" x 0.015mm, The first number you see is the width of the folded trash bag and the second number 30" is the height of the bag. The opening of the bag is 23" multiply by 2 and the length of the bag is 30". The thickness of the bag is 0.015mm or 15 microns thick.

It is recommended that you have 2-3 inch clearance for both the opening and the height, as it will be easier for you to have a over- fold over your bins. Thickness of the trash bag is based on the trash you wish to put in. For example, for liquid or trash that has sharp edges, highly recommend that you get thickness 0.04mm or 4 microns and above.
